Looking ahead....to book signings this weekend (Mrs. Dalloway's in Berkeley this saturday - 3pm! ), to sending out another book or two, and ...to the day when this farmer's market book finally gets published.

Today I am feeling gratitude for all the people who helped me along the way to getting this book sold, finished, and now out in bookstores. It truly is a miraculous journey. So a big thanks to my writers' group, my illustrators' group, the internet world of support, editors and art directors who advised me along the way, my partner Faye, my friends, and of course my family, specifically my husband and kids. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

Book debut Saturday!

So my first picture book's official debut date is this Saturday. I feel like I should have a party or maybe just drink champagne all day....Instead, I will probably be doing laundry, and checking my Amazon status...The real celebrating will happen at one of these events, come join us!

Edible Art exhibit up and running!

A big thanks to my friends who came out for the Edible Art opening friday night. I had a great time greeting friends, meeting other artists, matching names to faces, and looking at some work that made my stomach growl! the show will be up until June 25th, 2010, at the Women's Cancer Resource Center, if you're curious. ...and 20% of the sales of art on exhibit goes to the center.
