It's Pysanky time!

I think Easter is my favorite holiday.
I love decorating eggs, spring flowers, bunnies, chicks, jelly beans, the egg hunt and, of course, chocolate! Well, what's not to love?
I had good intentions. My plan was to have a pysanky tutorial up her for you by now. I guess it'll just have to wait til the weekend.
Stay tuned...

  1. I didn't know the word Pysanky, but these eggs look like the kind my Serbo-Lusatian ancestors used to be known for. They're so pretty! I'm glad you're having fun. :D

  2. Yes, pysanky are Ukrainian. If you click on the blog title, it'll take you to a website all about Ukrainian egg dying. It's like batik, a wax resist. Time consuming, but fun.
